What are the specific services that G12 provides to customers?

G12 provides Hosted VoIP, SIP Trunking, Integrated Access, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), conferencing and enterprise mobility Services.

What is a Hosted VoIP service?

Hosted VoIP is a fully managed IP voice service. With G12’s Hosted VoIP service you are able to utilize the latest in communications technology without having to purchase expensive platforms and pay to support and manage these platforms and systems. G12 hosts, maintains, and supports these communication platforms for the customer. These platforms are hosted in highly secure data center facilities in the US. With G12’s Hosted VoIP service you always receive the latest features and functionality without the cost of hosting, maintaining and upgrading an expensive phone system.

What is SIP Trunking?

SIP stands for Session Initiated Protocol. In effect, with SIP Trunking the Internet replaces the conventional telephone trunk or PRI allowing an enterprise to communicate with fixed and mobile telephone subscribers worldwide. G12’s SIP Trunking service allows customers to connect their PBX systems to the public switch telephone network (PSTN) via their existing IP or Internet connection without having to provision a separate physical line.

So what kind of features do I receive with G12 Services?

G12 provides the most advanced feature set in the industry. G12 customer can receive all the advanced features such as unified messaging, conferencing, caller ID, call waiting, 3 way calling, call forwarding, custom outbound caller ID, advanced voicemail, online call history, call recording, click-to-call, presence IM integration, find me follow me service, one number service, video telephony, and many more.

How am I charged for these services?

G12 provides services on a fixed monthly basis and fixed monthly plus usage. The fixed monthly service includes all the features and local and long distance calling at a fixed monthly rate. The usage based service includes everything you get with the fixed based service except your long distance usage is billed based on your actual usage.

Does G12’s service cost the same as my traditional phone service?

With G12 you will receive the latest in communication features at or below what you currently pay for your traditional telephony service. Also because G12 is an IP based service you can utilize your existing Internet connection and are not required to provision additional lines to support your services.

Is the quality the same as I get with my traditional phone service?

If you have a quality high speed Internet connection your voice service should be as good if not better than what you receive with your traditional phone service. The voice quality also depends on the phone and G12 supports the latest IP digital phones and phone systems that deliver the highest quality voice.

Can I keep my existing phone number if I move to G12 for service?

Yes, you can use your existing phone number. G12 will port your existing number.

What equipment is required for G12 Hosted Services?

Customers can access G12 hosted telephony services utilizing both IP based phones and analog telephone adaptors (ATA’s). G12 has a list of recommended IP phones and ATA’s that work best with their system. These devices can be purchased through G12 or through other VoIP and telephone equipment suppliers.

Is the equipment and service difficult to install?

Installation of G12 services is simple. G12 provides installation instructions with the equipment (phone or ATA) or on the website at www.g12com.com. If you order the equipment directly from G12 the IP Phones and ATAs will come to you already configured and ready to be installed.

How much does the equipment cost?

The IP phones can range from under $100 to over $300 depending on the brand and capabilities. The ATA devices range from $39.99 to around $100 based on brand, number of lines supported and features.
